1000KVA package substation installation, Sub base + LV pillar build.
- Although package sub builds are our main line of work and we aim to hit a 5-7 day turn around, this project had a few different obstacles for us to overcome.
- Restricted work area due to the site being kept open for bus use. H&S management was key to keeping works on track due to the close proximity of the general public.
- Our shuttering carpenters were commended on their attention to detail when constructing the sub and feeder pillar bases on this project. The finish and construction was to an extremely high standard which then allows for an easy TX landing and electrical build.
Despite the obstacles we were able to keep this project on track and hit the point of connection date with the DNO.
Full turn key
Full turn key projects are where we can really assist our clients needs. We were awarded all works on this project which allows us to get our team built and scheduled to minimise the time needed from initial civils works to the final connection.
- Small power and lighting installations carried out by our electricians who have knowledge of all DNO/IDNO requirements inside a substation.
- Electrical and Civil Supervisors on site to manage all H&S requirements.
- Onsite H&S audits carried out by our trusted consultants to ensure the whole work force are working to our own high standards.
Our clients were extremely happy with the way this project was executed and delivered and we have since received further projects to assist with.
